	Welcome to Milton Keynes Inter Varsity Club MKIVC is a multi activity social club. Our membership covers a radius of about 20 miles around Milton Keynes, with members from Newport Pagnell, Buckingham, Towcester, Leighton Buzzard, Bedford, Northampton and surrounding areas. Get involved and meet like minded people to do those things you've always wanted to do.

Upcoming Events Band night at Fox and Hounds. Band night at Fox and Hounds. This is always a great night. It's loud, crowded, there's limbs flying around at the front of the stage; just what a pub music night should be. Come on! - Julie's birthday meal. Julie's birthday meal. Please join me to celebrate my birthday with a meal at La Tasca, Theatre District, Milton Keynes. I intend to book a table for 7.30pm and might head on to a pub afterwards to wash down the delicious meal :-) - SCUBA Try Dive SCUBA Try Dive Ever wondered what breathing underwater is like !? Did you know that at just 4ft under water, your average lungs aren't strong enough to inflate themselves against the water pressure. So much for Rambo breathing underwater through a bamboo straw :-\ doh, I forgot, he's not your average guy :P Well now's your chance to find out what it's all about with this special event organised by Dave Inder from Northants IVC. Many of you already know Dave who's been to several MKIVC events, so please get in touch with him directly, mentioning that you're from MKIVC. Quiz night. Mid week and nothing to do!? Welcome along to The Fox and Hounds, Stony Stratford. It’s a great quiz and gets the old grey matter working. We have racked up a number of victories too!! - Weekly brisk walk. Weekly brisk walk. Approximately an hour of brisk walking. Weekly reminders will be sent out as locations may vary. There is no need to book for this event, but please let us know if you are coming so we can look out for you. Bring walking shoes, or trainers, and a torch. - On Elgar’s Malverns On Elgar’s Malverns Walking weekend, hike up too Worcestershire Beacon at (1394 ft) is the highest point in the Malverns and offers panoramic views of the Severn Valley, the Welsh mountains, the Bristol Channel, the Cotswolds, three cathedrals at Worcester, Gloucester and Hereford and a reputed sighting of 13 counties. Elgar lived in and around the Malvern Hills during his life and the Malvern Hills inspired the composer’s music. Malvern is also known for its spring water, and it's still bottled here today from the numerous natural springs that seep out of some of the ancient rocks. We are staying in a B&B Farmhouse (with very good reviews). Cost is £30-35 per person if sharing, or £45 single supplement. I’m going to take a group booking so you need to book by Jan 9th. -
